These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of AlphaCalc at alphacalc.app (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

The service

AlphaCalc provides free calculators and unit converters covering math, finance, health, dates, and everyday conversions. The Site is free to use, requires no account, and every tool runs entirely in your browser.

Not professional advice

Results from AlphaCalc are estimates provided for general informational and educational purposes only. They are not financial, medical, legal, tax, or other professional advice, and should not be relied on as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. Always verify important calculations independently before acting on them — for example, before making a financial decision, a health-related choice, or a legal filing.

Accuracy of results

We try to implement each calculator's formulas correctly and keep them up to date, but we don't guarantee that results are complete, current, or error-free. Formulas, assumptions, and default values (such as tax rates, activity factors, or unit conversion constants) are noted on each calculator's page where relevant — review them to make sure they match your situation.

No warranty

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AlphaCalc and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Site or reliance on any result it produces.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site — for example, by attempting to disrupt its operation, scraping it at a disproportionate rate, or using it to build a substantially similar competing service from its content without permission.

Intellectual property

The design, branding, and code that make up the Site are owned by AlphaCalc or its licensors. You're welcome to link to any calculator page. The numbers, dates, and other values you enter remain yours — we don't claim any ownership over your inputs.

Changes to the Site or these Terms

We may add, change, or remove calculators, or update these Terms, at any time. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "last updated" date.
